1001 Caps. CCA Espai. Andratx. MallorcaEl Centro Contemporáneo de Arte ESPAI de Andratx (Mallorca) presentará el próximo jueves 16 de abril a las 19 h, la instalación colectiva 1001 Caps. coordinada por Miquel Segura.

En ella han participado más de 30 reconocidos artistas mallorquines.

Presentando cerca de mil cabezas que adoptan gestos y expresiones, la instalación cuenta con 40 módulos instalados sobre peanas de hierro que se acompañan con una iluminación cenital que da más fuerza al conjunto.

1001 CAPS es un compromiso ético y estético de voluntades personales, una instalación sobre la convivencia, que da cabida a diferentes aspectos de las relaciones humanas: la dignidad, la libertad, la igualdad, la identidad y la diversidad.

Más de treinta artistas colaboran en este proyecto artístico y aúnan sus diferentes inquietudes, aportando así, una visión individual del mundo a la vez que colectiva.

Se podrá visitar hasta el  14 de junio del 2015.

    Desde que Marcel Duchamp tuviera la ocurrencia de pintarle bigotes y la inscripción L.H.O.O.Q., que en francés puede leerse como “Ella tiene el culo caliente”, a una postal que reproducía la “Gioconda” en un ready made rectificado, gesto de rebeldía generacional frente a la tradición artística y social, la reutilización del objeto artístico para obligarle a decir más de lo que puede o pretende por sí mismo se ha convertido en un acto casi cotidiano y muchas veces aburrido.

    Extraordinary quality of light, spectacular scenery, multicultural atmosphere; and of course fantastic access to an airport - only 2 hours away from any European capital city! These are only some of the many reasons why so many artists choose to live and work in Mallorca.

    Within the island, life in the Calvià municipality (south west of the island) is infused with a sense of rich cultural history (over 50 different archeological sites), and a vibrant contemporary art movement which seeps into every aspect of the dynamic outdoor lifestyle of the Calvianers (term used locally to describe the all-inclusive residents of Calvià, independently of their nationality). Ironically, the best way of experiencing this cultural and artistic melting pot is not by visiting a specific gallery or museum. Mild weather and good temperatures most of the year, mean that the best way of experiencing contemporary culture in this part of the island is by walking out into the streets, trekking up its hills, strolling around the sometimes rocky, sometimes sandy coastline, and most of all; by mingling with the Calvianers themselves.

    Mi primera visita a Art Basel, la Feria de Arte más importante del mundoEstando de nuevo la sede de la Revista de Arte Amblart en Europa, no podíamos faltar a visitar Art Basel del 18 al 21 de junio del 2019. Probablemente la Feria de Arte más importante del mundo. En primer lugar, para destacar, su excelente organización con los pases para los medios, sin esperas, sin colas.
