CONVOCATORIA DE BECAS PARA PROYECTOS ARTÍSTICOS A REALIZAR EN LA FUNDACIÓN BILBAO ARTE FUNDAZIOA
1. DOS MODALIDADES DE BECAS:
A. Beca Residente. Uso de un Espacio de Cesión Temporal de la Fundación Bilbao Arte Fundazioa para proyectos que requieran justificadamente la utilización de un espacio diferente a los talleres de producción de obra. En esta modalidad se convocan diez becas. Los artistas seleccionados para el uso de un Espacio de Cesión Temporal también tendrán a su disposición las infraestructuras de las que dispone el Centro en sus diferentes talleres de producción de obra. La asignación de un Espacio de Cesión supone su uso continuado durante el periodo en el que ha sido asignado. La ausencia y/o falta de aprovechamiento del espacio para el uso por el que ha sido cedido supone la renuncia al mismo. Tal situación implica, indefectiblemente, la renuncia al uso de los materiales patrocinados por la Fundación Bilbao Bizkaia Kutxa y el reintegro de las cantidades recibidas en materiales hasta el momento de cesar en el uso del espacio.
B. Beca Taller. Proyectos a realizar en los diferentes talleres de producción de obra de la Fundación Bilbao Arte Fundazioa: grabado y serigrafía, nuevas tecnologías, escultura, fotografía y plató de filmación. En esta modalidad se convocan diez becas.
Estas becas no implican en ningún caso la cesión de un espacio para la realización del proyecto, quedando explícitamente prohibida la utilización de cualquier espacio del Centro como almacén de obra.
2. DOCUMENTACIÓN A PRESENTAR EN CUALQUIERA DE LAS DOS MODALIDADES:
A. Dossier del proyecto a realizar, incluyendo en la portada la modalidad de beca a la que concurre.
B. Curriculum Vitae (en el caso de grupos, presentar currículo de cada uno de los miembros).
C. Documentación gráfica que se estime oportuna.
D. Presupuesto desglosado de ejecución del proyecto. Toda la documentación debe presentarse mecanografiada, en papel de formato Dina4 y sin exceder los veinte folios.
3. PRESENTACIÓN DE SOLICITUDES: A entregar en mano o por correo a portes pagados en: Fundación Bilbao Arte Fundazioa C/ Urazurrutia, 32 48003 Bilbao
4. PLAZO DE PRESENTACIÓN: Del 14 al 30 de noviembre de 2005, ambos inclusive. En las solicitudes remitidas por correo será la fecha del matasellos la que testifique la presentación dentro de los plazos establecidos. La Fundación Bilbao Arte Fundazioa designará una comisión de expertos encargada de la selección de los proyectos a realizar. Dicha comisión será la encargada del seguimiento de la efectiva realización de los proyectos durante el año 2006.
La FUNDACIÓN BILBAO BIZKAIA KUTXA, en su deseo de potenciar la cultura e impulsar acciones de apoyo a los jovenes creadores, colabora con la Fundación Bilbao Arte Fundazioa en la edición de la presente convocatoria mediante becas para el desarrollo de los proyectos seleccionados.
La FUNDACIÓN BILBAO ARTE FUNDAZIOA es un centro de producción artística, dependiente del Área de Cultura del Ayuntamiento de Bilbao, que pone a disposición de los jóvenes creadores los medios e infraestructuras necesarios para el desarrollo de sus propuestas artísticas: espacios de cesión, talleres de grabado y serigrafía, imagen digital, escultura, fotografía, plató de filmación, centro de documentación y salas de proyectos.
Desde su inauguración en el año 1998, centra su labor en el desarrollo de los siguientes programas y actividades:
· Becas para el desarrollo de proyectos artísticos en espacios de cesión y talleres de producción de obra.
· Cursos, seminarios y conferencias en los que participan creadores de consolidado prestigio internacional.
· Exposiciones de jóvenes creadores y jornadas de puertas abiertas.
· Intercambios con otros centros de arte.
· Asesoramiento artístico para la realización de proyectos institucionales.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF ARTISTIC PROJECTS TO BE PERFORMED IN THE FUNDACIÓN BILBAO ARTE FUNDAZIOA IN THE YEAR 2006.
The present announcement has as goal the selection of artistic projects belonging to any field, either individual or in groups, to be performed in the year 2006 in the assigned spaces and workshops for the production of works of the Fundación Bilbao Arte Fundazioa. The minimum estimated length of the projects will be six months and the maximum one year, to be counted from January 2006 onwards. The Fundación Bilbao Bizkaia Kutxa will sponsor the perishable materials for every selected project.
1. TWO TYPES OF GRANTS:
A. Resident Grant. Use of a Space assigned temporarily by the Fundación Bilbao Arte Fundazioa for projects that justifiably require the utilization of a space different from the workshops for work production. Ten grants are offered in this modality. The infrastructures owned by the Center in its different workshops of production for works will also be available for those artists selected for the use of a Temporal Assigned Space. The concession of an Assigned Space means its constant use for the period of its assignment. The absence and / or lack of utilization of the space for the use that justified the concession mean the renunciation to it. This situation unfailingly involves the renunciation to the use of the materials sponsored by the Fundación Bilbao Bizkaia Kutxa and the reimbursement of the amounts received on account of materials until the moment of stopping the use of the space.
B. Workshop Grant. Projects to be developed in the different workshops for production of works: etching and silk-screen printing, new technologies, sculpture, photograph and filming set. Ten grants are offered in this modality. These grants do not involve in any case the concession of a space to carry out a project, being strictly forbidden the utilization of any space of the Centre as warehouse of works.
2. DOCUMENTATION TO BE SUBMITTED FOR EACH OF THE TWO MODALITIES:
A. Dossier of the project to be performed, including on the front page the modality of the grant requested.
B. Curriculum Vitae (in the case of groups, C.Vs of every member must be presented).
C. Graphic documentation considered to be relevant.
D. Broken down budget of the performance of the project. All documents must be presented typewritten, in a paper with a DIN–A4 format, including no more than twenty folios.
3. SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS: They can be delivered by hand or by mail, post paid, to Fundación Bilbao Arte Fundazioa C/ Urazurrutia, 32 48003 Bilbao
4. SUBMISSION PERIOD: From the 14th to the 30th of November 2005 inclusive. For those applications sent by mail, the date of the postmark will confirm that the submission takes place within the specified period.
The Fundación Bilbao Arte Fundazioa will appoint a commission of experts responsible for the selection of the projects to be performed. This commission will be in charge of following-up the effective performance of the projects in the year 2006.
The FUNDACIÓN BILBAO BIZKAIA KUTXA, owing to its whish of fostering culture and promoting actions to support young artists, cooperate with the Foundation Bilbao Arte Fundazioa in the present edition of announcement of grants for the development of artistic projects.
FUNDACIÓN BILBAO ARTE FUNDAZIOA is an artistic production centre, depending on the Culture Area of the Bilbao City Council, that places at the disposal of creative young people the resources and infrastructures necessary for the development of their artistic projects: studios, engraving and silk screen printing workshops, digital image, sculpture, photography, filming set, documentation centre and project rooms.
Since its inauguration in 1998, it focuses its activity on the development of the following programs and activities:
· Grants for the development of projects in lent spaces and workshops.
· Courses, seminars and conferences in which internationally great prestige creatives participate.
· Young artists’ exhibitions and open days.
· Exchange with other art centres.
· Artistic advice for the development of institutional projects.
