BASES

1. La Fundació Fita convoca el 2n. PREMI INTERNACIONAL D'ART DIGITAL, obert a tots els artistes de qualsevol nacionalitat, que hi podran concórrer amb una obra per concursant o equip.
2. L'obra ha de ser realitzada en Flash, en Shockwave, o en qualsevol format compatible amb la xarxa d’internet, i lliurada en Cd-rom Windows o Mac compatible. Caldrà incloure-hi tots els plug-ins necessaris per a la seva execució.
3. S’haurà d’adjuntar una memòria descriptiva de l’obra, amb un màxim de 5.000 caràcters, i una imatge representativa de la mateixa (720x480 píxels).
4. Les obres no podran limitar-se només a la imatge. Es valorarà la interrelació entre diferents mitjans d’expressió artística, especialment entre imatge, moviment, só i text.
5. És necessari que les obres estimulin la participació interactiva.
6. El tema és LA MATERNITAT.
7. S'estableix el següent premi:
   PREMI INTERNACIONAL D'ART DIGITAL 2005 FUNDACIÓ FITA, dotat amb 5.000 euros a la millor obra.
8. Les obres presentades han de ser originals, rigorosament inèdites i no poden haver estat premiades en cap concurs.
9. Els autors han de tenir tots els drets dels materials utilitzats, i és responsabilitat seva obtenir les llicències i els permisos necessaris de les imatges, els textos i el só.
10. Les persones guanyadores d’anteriors edicions no podran optar a aquest premi.
11. El jurat serà designat per la Fundació Fita i els membres seran de reconeguda solvència tècnica i artística. La seva composició no es farà pública fins després del veredicte. Les seves decisions seran inapel·lables i està facultat per a resoldre qualsevol problema d’interpretació de les bases o no previst en elles.
12. A criteri del jurat es podrà declarar desert el premi. El jurat està autoritzat per concedir el premi exaequo a dues obres, si així ho creu convenient.

14. Les obres seran trameses a Fundació Fita, carrer Hortes, núm. 22, 17001 Girona. S’especificarà clarament en el sobre PREMI INTERNACIONAL D’ART DIGITAL 2005 FUNDACIO FITA.
15. El termini d’admissió de les obres finalitzarà a les 24 hores del dia 15 de setembre de 2005.
16. El material presentat a concurs quedarà en propietat de la Fundació Fita, que es reserva el dret de divulgació de l’obra premiada.
17. Una vegada presentada no es permetrà la retirada de cap obra, i un cop admeses no seran retornades.
18. La tarda del dijous 6 d'octubre de 2005 és farà conèixer l’obra premiada en un acte públic a l’Auditori Josep Viader de Girona. A les 20,00 hores GMT del mateix dia es publicarà a l’adreça:

19. El fet de participar al concurs implica la plena acceptació d’aquestes bases i el veredicte del jurat.

RULES

1. The Fita Foundation announces the 2nd INTERNATIONAL PRIZE FOR DIGITAL ART, open to all artists of any nationality, who may compete of it with one work per entrant or team.
2. The work must be created in Flash, Shockwave, or any internet-compatible format, and submitted on Windows or Mac compatible CD-ROM. All of the plug-ins necessary for running it must be included.
3. A descriptive memorandum on the work must be attached, with a maximum of 5.000 characters, together with a representative image of it (720x480 pixels).
4. The works may not be limited solely to the image. Value will be given to the interrelation between different media of artistic expression, especially betweeen image, movement, sound and text.
5. The works must stimulate the interactive participation.
6. The theme is MATERNITY.
7. The following prize is established:
   FITA FOUNDATION INTERNATIONAL PRIZE FOR DIGITAL ART 2005, endowd with 5.000 euros for the best work.
8. The works submitted must be originals, strictly unpublished, and must not have won any prize in any competition.
9. The authors must hold all rights of the materials used, and it is their responsibility to obtain the necessary licences and permits for the images, texts and sound.
10. No person who has won in previous editions may competefor this prize.
11. The jury will be designated by the Fita Foundation and the members will have ackowledged technical and artistic solvency. The composition of the jury will not be made public untill after the announcement of the veredic. Its decisions will be final and it is enpowered to settle any problem of interpretation of the rules or any matter not provided for in them.
12. At the jury's discretion, the prize may be declared void. The jury is authorised to award the prize ex aequo to two works if it sees fit.

14. The works must be send to Fundació Fita, Hortes 22, 17001 Girona (Catalonia, SPAIN). The envelope must clearly state FITA FOUNDATION INTERNATIONAL PRIZE FOR DIGITAL ART 2005.
15. The period of admission of the works will terminate at midnight on 15 September 2005.
16. The material submitted to the competition will remain the property of the Fita Foundation, which reserves the right of dissemination of the winning work.
17. Once submitted, no work may be withdrawn, and once admitted it will not be returned.
18. On the afternoon of Thursday 6 October 2005 the winning work will be announced in a public ceremony at the Josep Viader Auditorium in Girona. At 20,00 GMT on the same day, it will be announced at the internet address:

19. The fact of participating in the competition implies the full acceptance of these rules and the jury's verdict.
